sick :[
but please do not worry! peace corps-georgia care has been fantastic! i wouldn’t trust my health with anyone else.
but i think this all started because my host cousin, nino, gifted me with some beautiful lilacs sunday afternoon. sunday night i was sneezing and coughing up a storm, plus my nose was running like a faucet. so, i passed it all off as allergies. my coughing got progressively worse and was so embarrassed about it during our language and technical sessions that i called the doctor tuesday afternoon. i was picked up by p.c. staff and taken to tbilisi. i got checked out by the staff doctor, had an x-ray done and some blood drawn. it’s a mild case of bronchitis. nothing that can’t be treated! i get to stay an extra night in tbilisi and will return to my pst site sometime tomorrow. [[tbilisi is a gorgeous city, very parisian...in parts, fabulous sites and hot showers]]
getting my prescriptions from the doctor now. sorry for the quick post. much love!

You will do anything to get a HOT shower. But bronchitis? That’s going a bit too far. I hope you can feel my hug and Bailey’s warm body tucked around you to make you feel better. Maybe your host mom will make you some chicken soup. That was sweet about the lilacs, though. Take care of yourself and get better quickly. I love you and miss you. me.
